Politics Post 1 - Kerry's PLAN?

In the last week or so Kerry has outlined his plan for Iraq. But is it really his plan? Kerry says he will "internationalize" support and get help from our allies. Hello?? Is this not what Bush has been trying to do every since we went to war? Didn't he go before the UN on Tuesday and defend his cause and try to get more support?

If Kerry is going to do a better job at getting allies to help us than Bush has, please tell me how. It looks to me all Kerry is doing is taking what Bush has tried unsuccessfully to do and saying he'll do the same thing successfully, without explaining how. Can this really be called a plan?

First off Bush only got support because we were attacked. He has pissed the world community off so many times he cant find the suport anymore. We are much less represented in the UN today because of him. We have been kicked off of so many committees in the UN because of his policies its just not funny. If you listen to the news and see how many of our allies pull out because there are one or two of their guys being held hostage, it’s really an excuse to get out of a badly led war. I have talk to people in other countries our news does not do justice for how much we are disliked. The world hates us, not loves us. We have an attitude that we are the greatest and everyone likes us, its simply not true.
Kerry is much smarter then bush he is much quicker. He was a trial lawyer he is quick on his feet. When talking to the leader of another country to give us support or just for whatever, I think just because it is him he will do a better job. He is also more sensitive to the world community then Bush ever was. Even if he does a crappy job we wont have to deal with Bush anymore.
If that doesn’t make you want to vote Kerry then consider this. One of Kerry's plans to reform education includes giving free college to anyone who would be willing to do 2 years community service straight out of high school. FREE COLLEGE! I'm in college right now; it’s costing me $20,000 a year, 3 years. That’s killer. Bush wants to spend money on the military; Kerry wants to spend it here at home.
