On the news this morning it said $2.66 somewhere in St. Peters. I declare it more the end of the middle class and poor world. The people who own oil can enjoy their cars. The farmers can ride horses. We can ride bikes. Or join a cross-country team.
Maybe they're trying to get teens to stay at home ~ first making it exceptionally difficult to get a good job, then stealing all our money for the retarded SSN system that we'll never benefit from, and now preventing the lucky few who have jobs from getting to them. Hope they realize it'll kill off our lovely American average of $91 a week of spending money too. That will collapse a bunch of companies. Eventually. Or, the shameless ones, like me, can go beg their parents for money anyways.
Cruel world.
Who wants to join me in routing the Alaskan pipeline to Missouri? Specifically, my house. I'll make the posters. -Sanguine
p.s. Ya know, a farce on Jay Leno regarding Kerry suggested kechup-powered cars. Maybe they were on to something. Provided ketchup is still less than $2.50 a gallon. I've never bought a gallon ketchup before.
To learn about the world. To observe modern culture and its effects. To work with others and figure out how to combat it. To do anything possible to promote church unity and discourage apathy. To cry out to God for revival, revolution, and salvation.
My Daily Prayer
John 17
...Holy Father, protect us by the power of your name... so that we may be one as you are one...
...let us have the full measure of your joy within us...protect us from the evil one...sanctify us by your truth...
...I pray also for those who will believe in you through our message, that all of us may be one, Father, just as you and the Son are one...
...May we be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent your son and have loved us even as you have loved him.Daniel 9
...O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with all who love him and obey his commands, we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws...
...Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant... We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. O LORD, LISTEN! O LORD, FORGIVE! O LORD, HEAR AND ACT!
